Elephant Parade is an international phenomenon that was inspired by the true story of a baby elephant.
The founders of Elephant Parade visited the first elephant hospital in the world in Lampang, near Chang Mai in Thailand, and met a baby elephant named Mosha. Mosha had lost her leg after stepping on a landmine. Elephant Parade was created as a sustainable and structural approach to providing the Asian elephant with a future, as money raised from the sale of tour elephants, and their replicas, will be donated to The Asian Elephant Foundation.
